Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan’s wife, Umme Ahmed Shishir, has denied the reports of her husband cheating on her. Shakib has been involved in a lot of controversies on the field and off the field in his career. Recently, reports emerged that he is cheating on his wife.
Shakib-Al-Hasan’s wife, Umme Ahmed Shishir, addressed criticism directed at her husband, particularly those related to his career choices. She acknowledged that people are entitled to their opinions and can criticize him if they wish. However, she strongly urged them not to conflate their opinions about his career with their personal relationship.
Shishir emphasized that Shakib is a devoted husband and father, who has always been honest and loyal to her. She also highlighted that he once faced suspension because he stood up for her, underscoring his commitment to their relationship.
“You might have your views on his career and choices I won’t deny that, everyone has the freedom to speak!” Umme Ahmed Shishir wrote. “Criticise him all you want! But please do not mix it with our relationship he is a great husband and a father, he has always been Honest and loyal to me and would never do anything to hurt me, he’s a person who got himself suspended once for standing up for me,” she wrote in a lengthy Facebook post.
Umme Ahmed Shishir clarified that she is well aware of her husband Shakib-Al-Hasan’s activities and often accompanies him. She assured everyone that he remains the same person she met 13 years ago, highlighting his dedication as a life partner and expressing gratitude for their family. She also urged people not to believe online rumors, pointing out that social media often presents a distorted version of reality through selective photos and information.
“I am always aware of his outings and I am most of the time with him. He’s still the same person I met 13 years ago as a life partner he’s 100/100 and we have a beautiful family Alhamdulillah! Please stop this online rumours don’t always believe what’s on social media it’s all about cut and paste pictures don’t speak the whole story,” She added.
“To the group of people who are doing this, let me tell you one thing you won’t gain anything out of it! I don’t like to talk about my personal life, I wanted to stay quiet because the truth is within me but due to unnecessary calls and texts I wanted to make it clear! He has Pakistan series to focus on now and I focus on our family we’ve always been a team and will remain as a team In Sha Allah! “Ps- I did not delete any of my posts or pictures, I just made them private also pictures posts doesn’t justify any relationship! Thank you,” Shakib’s wife concluded.
Shakib-Al-Hasan is currently in Pakistan to play in the 2-match test series
Shakib has travelled to Pakistan with the Bangladesh team to participate in the 2-match Test series, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship. The series is set to start from August 21. This will just be the 7th Test series between the two teams.
The Bangladesh team has arrived in Pakistan earlier than scheduled because of the civil unrest back in the country. Shakib will try to help Bangladesh win the Test series with his all-round skills and provide happiness back in the country.
Shakib was last seen on the cricket field in Global T20 Canada where he has a very average performance while captaining Bangla Tigers Mississauga. He has played 67 Test matches and scored 4505 runs and picked up 237 wickets. On the other hand, he has played 247 ODIs and scored 7570 runs and picked up 317 wickets. He is one of the best all-rounders in the world.
