In a recently played Lancashire match against Surrey, Rocky Flintoff, son of English legend Andrew Flintoff, was seen making his county debut.
He turned out to be the youngest English cricketer to have made a debut in the County Championship, aged just 16 years and 197 days.
Rocky came in to bat for Lancashire at No. 4, with the huge burden of Flintoff’s surname on his shoulders. He got out for 32 runs off 64 balls on his debut, as Sai Sudarshan took a fast catch at a position between point and cover.

Son of legendary cricketer, Andrew Flintoff would be pretty pleased with his son’s debut. He came into professional cricket at the youth level, as he first played for Lancashire’s 2nd team, where he starred as a middle-order batter.
Before making his debut in the senior level of cricket, he had scored 168 runs for the team in 7 appearances, with his highest score being 88 against Middlesex.
Andrew Flintoff, in his career, scored 3845 runs in Tests and also picked 226 wickets. On the other hand, he had had a decorated career in white-ball cricket, as he struck 169 times with 3394 runs scored. With all this acclaim, Rocky Flintoff would have to meet the huge expectations.
