She tried to adjust, but at the end, she took a backseat and decided to part ways. The rumours of their divorce became viral after the end of the IPL. However, it was fully revealed after the end of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2024.

Hardik Pandya has faced a tough time since the start of IPL 2024

Hardik Pandya has had a tough time since the start of the year. Ahead of the start of the IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians bought back Pandya and appointed him as the captain replacing Rohit Sharma. He had to face the abuses and ire of the Indian fans throughout the IPL due to this decision. Moreover, his performance went down and his team suffered in the IPL. There were talks of him getting ripped from the T20 World Cup squad.

Pandya, however, brought his best form in the World Cup. He performed with both the bat and the ball. Pandya played an integral part in India’s title win with his all-round performance. Even in the final, he picked up the crucial wicket of Heinrich Klaasen and brought India back in the game.

Moreover, he bowled the all-important final over, picked up the wicket of David Miller and also defended the runs to crown India champions. After the World up, he was ignored from the contention of becoming India’s T20I captain and Suryakumar Yadav was made the captain.
