Ravindra Jadeja was last seen on the field for India during the final match of the T20 World Cup final against the Proteas. After skipper Rohit and veteran Virat Kohli, he also announced his retirement from the shortest format of the game internationally.

Jadeja is currently the highest-ranked Test all-rounder by ICC, and it has been a long time since he led the list by a huge margin. Jadeja was placed on the Duleep Trophy team; however, the BCCI withdrew his name without any reason or explanation.

Now that he has joined the centrally ruling party as a member, he will next be seen for India in the longest format of the game against Bangladesh in the home Test series. He will also be a crucial player in India’s Champions Trophy campaign if he gets picked for it. Besides, he is likely to be a part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which starts at the end of this year.
