[Watch] Babar Azam hilariously wraps towel after not finding his trousers on time

It seems like the Pakistan star batter, Babar Azam, is always in the news for one or the other reason. In a recent training session, Azam, who was practicing in shorts, did not find his trousers on time to offer player along with his teammates. Then, he had to wrap a towel and join his teammates for prayers.

All the other players were ready for the prayers on time. However, Babar was desperately looking for his trousers everywhere. When he did not get it on time, he took a towel, and then wrapped it around his waist to attend the prayer. The fans present in the stand enjoyed the incident and cheered for Azam. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

Babar has been under a lot of pressure for not scoring big runs and performing as per the hype for a conquerable period of time. He failed with the bat in the recent home test series against Bangladesh and Pakistan were whitewashed in the series. He has not scored a century since the opening match against Nepal in the Asia Cup 2023.

His red ball stats are ever poorer since 2022. The inability to stand up for Pakistan and score runs on pressure moments have attracted a lot of criticisms from all sides. Meanwhile, he stepped down from all format captaincy after his team got knocked out in the group stage of the ODI World Cup in India in 2023.

However, he was reinstated as captain of the white ball side ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2024. However, Pakistan were again knocked out of the group stage. Recent reports say that Muhammad Rizwan will replace Shan Masood in the Test team and Babar Azam in the white ball team as captain. However, a PCB Insider revealed that both the players will retain their responsibilities.
