Saurabh Netravalkar was part of the Indian U-19 team in the 2010 U-19 Cricket World Cup. However, he then moved to USA to have his career launched in the field of computer technology but he continued to play cricket side by side. He then became the captain of the USA cricket team and became one of the most influential player in the team.

Netravalkar displayed tremendous performances in the recently held 2024 T20 World Cup. He led his team to a victory against Pakistan, who are one of the Test playing nations in international cricket. This brought him fame and recognition.

Pakistan fans were frustrated as the player went on to defend 18 runs in the Super Over to take his side to a historical victory in the match. Netravalkar, recently, talked about how he continued to play cricket side by side despite working at Oracle.

He stated that he is passionate about both technology and cricket and that helps him strike a balance between the two fields. He feels that he needs to enjoy the moment, give it time and efforts to make both things work.

Netravalkar responds, “Most importantly, it’s the love for it. I am passionate about tech and I’m passionate about the sport so, as long as you’re passionate about it, it doesn’t seem like work,” when asked how he manages to balance both careers. You enjoy carrying it out. All you need to do is carve out time to complete it, compartmentalize your activities, turn things on and off, and give it your all in the moment.”

Netravalkar has an immaculate ability to swing the ball and bowl in accurate line and length. His displays in the T20 World Cup 2024 won the hearts and minds of all the cricket fans around the world.
