Rajasthan Royals announced Vikram Rathour as the batting coach

Rajasthan Royals have announced India’s former batting coach, Vikram Rathour as the new batting coach of their franchise ahead of IPL 2025 season.

Rathour was part of the Rahul Dravid-led coaching staff of the Indian team. Under their helm, India qualified for the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 in India and won the ICC T20 World Cup in 2024.

“Rathour, a seasoned cricket professional, joins the Royals’ coaching setup shortly after the franchise welcomed Rahul Dravid back as head coach. It will reignite a successful partnership that elevated India to the top of the rankings in all three formats during their stint together, and led the country to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 title earlier this year,” Rajasthan Royals said in a statement.
