Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant are included in the probable squad of Delhi for the Ranji Trophy 2024-25

India’s two premier batters, Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli have found their names in the probable squad of Delhi for the Ranji Trophy season 2024-25. The fans are excited after learning that the two stars of Indian cricket are likely to be in action in the most important red-ball domestic tournament in Indian Cricket.

The two players are, currently, part of the Indian squad for the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur. India won the first Test match against Bangladesh in Chennai, which was Pant’s first red-ball game in international cricket after the car accident in December 2022.

Pant did not take much time to get going as he scored a century in the second innings of the game. Kohli, however, failed to get going in both the innings, although he was given out wrongly in the second innings. The replays displayed that Kohli had a big inside edge before the ball went on to hit his pads. However, he did not take the DRS.

India will next play a three-match Test series at home against New Zealand, followed by a five-match Test series in Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The two players do need good match practice to perform really well in the Test series.
