Indian veteran pacer Jasprit Bumrah has shown his trustworthiness in new Indian pace sensation Akash Deep after their win in the second Test against Bangladesh.
In a recent video shared by the BCCI, Bumrah shared a view on interesting conversations in between overs with Akash Deep, the new Indian fast bowler. Bumrah opened up on how they had many interesting conversations and how he brings amazing energy to the ball.
The rain caused major trouble as two days were washed out and hence India had to take their toll as the track turned tricky for the pacers, however, it was a new challenge for Bumrah and co. which he said he relished.
Bumrah stood as the joint highest wicket-taker, alongside Ravi Ashwin, with 11 wickets under their belt. H he led India from a high-pressure situation to a thumping win.
India’s probable Playing 11 ahead of the first T20I against Bangladesh
India will begin their T20 series on the 6th of October, as Suryakumar Yadav will be back on the field and will again be seen captaining the Men in Blue side.
Jasprit Bumrah has yet again rested ahead of the Bangladesh T20s, as this is the second time he has been rested due to his workload management since the Sri Lanka series. However, this time around not only Bumrah but also the likes of Gill, Pant and Jaiswal have been rested too.
Abhishek Sharma makes his return, while Nitish Kumar Reddy eyes his first appearance in the shortest format for India. Sharma will likely be back as an opener alongside Sanju Samson, who might be the other batter seen in an opening role.
The middle order seems quite fresh, as players like Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan have not been picked in the series as well. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav, Rinku Singh, Riyan Parag, Hardik Pandya and Jitesh Sharma form the middle order.
If not Jitesh, then either of the all-rounders, namely Shivam Dube and Nitish Kumar Reddy might also been picked as a no.7. Ravi Bishnoi and Chakravarthy are picked as the spinners in the side, wihle Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh could be the first choice pacers for Gambhir and Morkel.
India Probable Playing XI: Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, Riyan Parag, Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy.
