Pakistan will face off against England in the third and final Test match of the series at the Rawalpindi Cricket. The series is tied at 1-1 with England winning the first and Pakistan coming back strongly in the second Test match.
In the pre-match press conference ahead of the third Test, England captain, Ben Stokes was unable to understand a question asked by a Pakistani journalist in broken English.
The journalist was trying to ask whether England will be aiming to score 800 runs yet again just like the first Test in Multan. However, Stokes couldn’t understand the question and asked him to repeat it. The England skipper understood the question on the third time, infact.

England posted 800 runs in the first Test match of the series
England won the first Test against Pakistan on a belter of a wicket. Stokes was not present in that game and Ollie Pope led the side in his absence.
However, the England batters posted a massive total of 823/7 in their first innings with Harry brook scoring 317 runs and Joe Root scoring 262 runs.
The Pakistani batters crumbled in their second essay and England won the match by an innings and 47 runs.
Meanwhile, Pakistan came back strongly in the second Test match by fielding a spin dominant attack and playing on a used Multan wicket. The spinners wreaked havoc for the team and Pakistan could level the series 1-1.
Stokes has clarified that he will be able to bowl normally in the final Test match in Rawalpindi and also he expects the pitch to aid the batters in the first two days of the Test match.
He said: “It was good to get through it. I have put myself through my paces at training, bowled two spells. Coming in and being one of only two seamers, I’m fully confident that I’ll be able to get more out of myself this week than I did last week. There’s not too much grass to hold everything together. It will be interesting to see how it goes. It will be a pretty good wicket for the first couple of days, at least.”
