5-time IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings, acquired the services of Afghanistan leg-spinner Noor Ahmad for an unprecedented price of INR 10 crore. Due to the lack of quality foreign spinners, Noor grabbed a huge amount of money.

Some moves in this auction have been truly unexpected, and Chennai Super Kings once again lived up to their reputation for making bold, unpredictable decisions. This time, they succeeded in leaving everyone amazed.

CSK, the team known for showing trust in experienced and veteran cricketers, went ahead to get a player like Noor Ahamd for their squad. The young and energetic spin bowler has been a crucial asset for whatever team he has been a part of.

Chennai Super Kings won the bid for the player at INR 5 crore, but Gujarat Titans decided to apply their right-to-match card on the young lad. To beat their RTM, the Chennai-based franchise had to increase their bid to INR 10 crore.
