The IND vs AUS Border-Gavaskar Trophy is known as one of the biggest rivalries in the longest format of the game. The red ball action is back as India visit Australia for a 5-match Test series to be played in this WTC.
In the severely dynamic Test battle, the visitors India have been the dominant side with both the bat and ball. Though not having the best of starts, they did everything to uplift the game standards with a genuinely splendid spell in the first game.
Mohammad Siraj, the Indian pace great, shared an intense rivalry with Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne, ever since the batter played Australia’s slowest-ever test inning with a 2-run score off 52 balls.
Labuschagne tired off the pacers and then began the furious exchange of words between the two most aggressive and unfriendly sets of players from either side. In a recent video uploaded by Star Sports, the duo was seen having an animated conversation as temper flared on both sides.

Siraj, Bumrah continue battle with the Aussie batter in the fourth inning
Australia came in to bat in the fourth inning, after India batted very well in the second and third day of the match. They set a target of 534 in front of the home side.
With such a huge target, Australia needed a rock-solid start just like the Indians had with their openers Jaiswal and Rahul. However, Mohammad Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah, who shared the new ball, saw wreaking havoc with the ball. The likes of Nathan McSweeney, Pat Cummins, and Marnus Labuschagne were sent back on the third day, itself.
Labuschagne came in to bat when Cummins got dismissed. Marnus and Siraj fought an engaging battle, where Siraj emerged the hostile bowler as he dominated Labuschagne with his fiery spell. Bumrah later got him with a beaming yorker.
