The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024/25 is heating up. The first Test match in Perth ended with a massive win for India by 295 runs. The second Test match at the Adelaide Oval with the Pink ball ended with a massive win by 10 wickets for Australia. It is now time for the third Test match at the Gabba in Brisbane. The match will kickoff on December 14.
The Australian team left for Brisbane soon after the Test match but the Indian team continued with their practice sessions in Adelaide. They finally left for Brisbane on December 11. However, an interesting incident had happened on December 11. The young opening batter, Yashasvi Jaiswal was late to arrive to the bus. The team management and the other players waited for him but later decided to leave for airport to catch the flight.
Later, videos showed that Jaiswal boarded a car to arrive at the airport and could make it on time to the airport to catch the flight on time with the rest of the team members.

Jaiswal scored a duck in the first innings of the Pink ball Test and was dismissed for 24 in the second innings. Jaiswal scored a duck in the first innings of the first Test but came back with a 161 runs inning in the second innings of the Test match.
The young Indian batter has been consistently scoring runs in Test cricket in the last year or so and his team are heavily dependent on him to win the BGT 2024/25. He has played 30 innings in Test cricket and has scored 1592 runs at an average of 54.9 with four centuries, eight half-centuries and two double hundreds. Jaiswal is being looked at as the next big thing in Indian and world cricket.
