Royal Challengers Bangalore have made some fine signings in the IPL 2025 mega auction. The franchise is one of the most followed franchises in the IPL, with loyal supporters backing and supporting the team everywhere in India. However, despite the support, the team hasn’t won a single IPL in the history. One of the players that RCB signed in the auction was Krunal Pandya. They bought him for 5.75 crore INR in the auction.
Krunal Pandya mentioned that while he was bowling in Indore in the SMAT after the auction, he noticed the crowd on one side of the stadium chanting “RCB…RCB,” which made him exclaim in surprise. He further remarked on the incredible support RCB receives, noting that even during away games, the team enjoys the same level of enthusiasm from fans, which is not common among other franchises. Krunal described the RCB fanbase as very passionate, loyal, and the best, hands down.
He said: “When I was playing in Indore after the auction, I was bowling and the entire one side of the stadium where there was crowd, they were changing ‘RCB..RCB’, and I was like, ‘Wooo.’ It’s insane the support that they get. Obviously, at home, everyone knows how RCB fans are. When RCB team used to travel for away games as well, you get the same kind of support, which not many franchises get. The fans are very passionate and very loyal. It’s been the best fanbase, hands down.”
Krunal Pandya heaped praise on the RCB fans
Krunal Pandya expressed that RCB fans are the backbone of the team and he senses that their support will lead to something very special and magical. He urged them to keep supporting the team, promising that they would bring a lot of happiness that year.
He added: “RCB fans, I’ll just say one thing, you guys have been the backbone of this team. I can sense it that it will create something very special and magical. So, just keep supporting us and we’ll give you a lot of happiness this year.”
