The personal lives of celebrities like actors and cricketers have been taking the attention of people over social media. The recent developments in media and social media have crept into the speculations surrounding marriages and divorces of cricketers.
Yuzvendra Chahal’s split with his wife Dhanashree Verma has indicated a potential separation between the two, though both have not confirmed anything yet, with them often raising the bar with cryptic Instagram posts.
The past year took the buzz to another level with Hardik Pandya’s infamous split with his wife Natasha, after which the ailing MI skipper went on to win the World Cup title for India.
Now Manish Pandey, the former RCB centurion who held the record for being the first centurion in the history of the IPL, has also been reported to have troubles in his marriage with his wife, actress-model Ashrita Shetty.
Manish Pandey has played 68 international matches for India and tied the knot back in 2019. The couple has not made a public appearance for a long time, while recently the two have unfollowed each other on social media platforms. The situation turned complex when they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
They have also decided to delete each other’s images from their social media platforms. However, neither Manish Pandey nor his wife Ashrita has ever addressed this situation and has decided to remain silent.
Manish Pandey is back with the Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL 2025
Though Pandey started off his career with the Royal Challengers Bangalore, he rose to fame in his years with the Kolkata Knight Riders when he played under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir in 2013-16.
Pandey, who played a match-winning innings for the Knight Riders in the 2014 IPL final, went on to be bought for a huge amount of money by the Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, since 2021, he has lost form, and this time around he has finally been bought for INR 75 lakhs.
Not having many matches in the KKR camp in the last season, he played only a few matches, replacing the injured middle-order batter Nitish Rana.
