They will come to the shores of India with renewed hopes to beat India in Test series at their own ground, which is one of the toughest job to do, given that they are so dominant at home. The rivalry between the two sides have fueled off late, both in cricket and politically.

Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter, Litton Das, meanwhile, said that they are very excited to perform well in the India series but wants to not take their success in Pakistan into their head.

“Obviously, very important (to leave the Pakistan series behind) and you (media) also need to help a bit. It would be better if you don’t talk too much about the Pakistan series. There is a big challenging series ahead (against India). For me as a player, that is in the past (Pakistan Series). But we definitely gained confidence from that,” Litton Das said.

The first Test between India and Bangladesh starts on 19th September at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai before the actions shifts to Kanpur for second Test, scheduled to take place from 27th September to 1st October 2024.
