Vinod Kambli has faced serious health troubles owing to his habit of often drinking; however, he made the headlines when he was seen in a very weak appearance while speaking with former childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar at Achrekar’s remembrance ceremony.
Sachin’s childhood friend and former teammate have been acquaintances of each other since their school days, as Kambli, in his small yet illustrious career worth notifying, went on to score 3561 runs in international cricket.
Kambli, the left-handed batter, still holds the record as the third youngest player to have scored a double ton in the longest format of international cricket.
