Meanwhile, former Australian opener, David Warner, has also wished the Indian fans on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. He uploaded a photo of Lord Ganesh on his Instagram story and wished the fans with a caption that read:
‘Happy Ganesh Chaturthi’.
The fans were quick to notice that and shared their same on their social media handles.
It is worth mentioning that to mark the occasion, the devotees all over India celebrate the festival by placing idols of Lord Ganesh in pandals and their homes.
A puja of Lord Ganesh is done with Vedic hymns with the offering of sweets like modak, and the singing of devotional songs. Indian families come together and celebrate it together. It brings a fresh air of happiness all over India.
David Warner announced International retirement after T20 World Cup 2024
Warner announced his retirement from international cricket, following Australia’s exit at the 2024 T20 World Cup. However, he has kept his doors open if the team needs him for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.
He has been a sensational player in international cricket with 8,786 runs in 112 Tests, 6,932 runs from 161 ODI matches, and 3,277 runs in 110 T20Is.
Warner is dearly loved by the Indian fans because of his charismatic presence in the IPL over the years for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi capital.
He has won over the fans through his heartwarming gestures, time and time again. Warner has also recreated many of the iconic dance forms in Bollywood and Telugu movies. On numerous occasions, he has danced to the tunes of the popular songs in Indians movies and entertained the Indian fans.
David Warner is set to play for Bulawayo Braves Jaguars in the second season of Zim Afro T10 league 2024, starting 21st September.
