Shikhar Dhawan, through his X handle, posted a tweet two days ago that sparked rumours of Dhawan being in a restless condition, unable to sleep, which immediately took the attention of his fans.
Fans were overloaded with concern over the promo of the shot, as everyone pitied the cricketer’s condition. However, the full video has been released by Dhawan today, which shows it to be a glimpse of an ad shot by Shikhar Dhawan.
The ad seemed to have been shot for Svish, a men’s intimate and personal hygiene brand. The ad now released turned a set of hilarious comments from his concerned fans.
“The phase you are going through is still managing everything. Not easy, man… Stay strong, Gabbar Pajii,” commented a fan still showing enough concern for the ex-cricketer.
While most of them went on to slam the cricketer for the awkward way of raising the bar on social media.
“Itna irrelevant ad,” slammed one of the users.
“Bahot acha scam kardiye aap toh,” said another user, as it seemed to be a tone of discomfort.
“Majak mat kiya kro yar.. kud so rhe ho, Dusrno ki need uda kr Shameful @SDhawan25,” said another user who seemed disgusted by Dhawan’s stunt over the social media.
Shikhar Dhawan has retired from all forms of cricket
Dhawan retired from international cricket back in August, as he announced his retirement on the 24th of August. Dhawan last played on the field for the Punjab Kings back in the 2024 IPL before sustaining injuries.
Shikhar Dhawan went on to feature in the Legends League Cricket for the first time as he was roped in by the Gujarat Greats in the LLC 2024 and was also their skipper. Dhawan was not exquisite with the bat though he scored 143 runs averaging nearly 25 in the six innings he appeared for the Greats.
