There have been biopics on esteemed cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni. Now it seems like there would be one made on the former Indian off-spinner from Punjab, Harbhajan Singh.
Harbhajan is one of the legendary Indian cricketers who has won the ICC T20 World Cup as well as the ICC ODI World Cup. Bhajji has said that the popular Bollywood actor, Vicky Kaushal, will be the best person to portray his role in his biopic.
Bhajji has stated that Kaushal comes from the same district and also speaks the same language as him. Harbhajan added that he will also have an interaction with Kaushal regarding this.
“I think Vicky Kaushal would be an ideal choice. Both he and are from the same district and speak the same language. I will certainly talk to him,” Harbhajan Singh said.
Harbhajan Singh, the celebrated Indian cricketer, shared insights about the biopic based on his life. Bhajji highlighted the dedication needed to achieve one’s aspirations, saying that to realize a dream, one must remain vigilant and continuously work hard towards it.
He didn’t even own a bicycle in his youth, underscoring his modest start. However, through relentless effort, he has now reached a point where he feels blessed with everything he could need. Harbhajan’s message is one of hope and motivation: if someone like him, from such simple origins, can achieve great heights, then anyone can, provided they are willing to put in the effort.i
“I have been writing my story for about two years now. When I was growing up, I had nothing but a dream. To fulfill that dream, you have to stay awake and keep working towards it. I came from Jalandhar. I didn’t even have a cycle. Today, I can say that God has provided me with everything. If it can happen to me, anyone can achieve it, provided they put in the hard work,” he added.
