Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of the Women’s cricket team, is ready for the Women’s ICC T20 World Cup 2024. She said that she and her team are really cited to be in the T20 World Cup.
She underlined the preparation of her team and the preparation for this ICC tournament. The Indian captain went on to say that she is confident and they will do all that they can to come out on top in the World Cup.
“You are putting pressure on us by saying this. We are really excited and want to give our best. The team has done really well and prepared a lot for this big tournament. We will not leave a single stone unturned. We are positive, and I am confident we will come through with flying colors,” she told the Times of India.

Harmanpreet expresses confidence in her team, the positive attitude of the players and the interest to give their best in the T20 World Cup in 2024. She also highlighted how they communicate in the dressing room and the T20 World Cup is a big opportunity for her players. They want to go out on the field and enjoy the game.
She added. “That’s our aim. As I said, we are prepared, we are positive, and we just want to go out and give our best. We always talk in the dressing room about how this is a great opportunity for us. I tell my team one thing: go and enjoy your game. That’s it.”
Ten teams are vying for glory, split into two groups. Group A includes heavyweights like Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Over in Group B, you’ve got Bangladesh, England, Scotland (making their debut in this format), South Africa, and the West Indies.
Each team plays everyone in their group, with the top two from each advancing to the knockout stages.
