England all-rounder, Ben Stokes, loses his wicket in a comical fashion, finding an unexpectedly amusing way to get himself out. He misjudged the spin and got out on a fuller ball, that plumbed him in the front.
He completely misestimated the spin of the ball and overcommitted his front leg too out, which made him lose his balance. His bat rose high up, as he anticipated the ball to turn down the leg, but got plumb instead.
This dismissal is one of the most funniest and brain fade moment in the cricketing history. The English captain was left stunned and gave away the wicket to Pakistani spinner Noman Ali.
Ben Stokes have always been struggling against the Spin, whenever he plays on Asian soil. This has been a disappointing series as he only managed to score 55 runs in 4 innings, which is less than Noman Ali (78) and Sajid Khan (73), the spin bowlers of Pakistan.
Apart from him, Ollie Pope and Harry Brook also seemed to struggle on the rank turning pitches in Pakistan.
Here’s a look at some of the reactions from the fans on Ben’s dismissal :
Pakistan clinched series against England 2-1
Pakistan defeated England in the third and final test of the series by 9 wickets, to clinch the series 2-1, after losing the first test miserably. The visitors struggled a lot on these rank turners that the Pakistan team welcomed them with.
Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, the spin bowlers of Pakistan, bowled pretty long spells and didn’t let any English batter settle for a large amount of time. Pakistan captain Shan Masood contributed decent runs to boos the confidence of their team.
Pakistan did the unbelivable, conceding a staggering 823 runs in the first Test and suffering a defeat by an innings and 47 runs, only to come back and clinch victory in the next two matches, is nothing short of remarkable. This turnaround highlights an incredible display of resilience and skill, showcasing the team’s determination to recover from a heavy loss and ultimately dominate the series.
