“I took my pistol out, I went to Kapil Dev’s house”- Yuvraj Singh’s father makes huge revelation

In a staggering revelation, Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh mentioned that he wanted to shoot Kapil Dev after he dropped him from national team. According to Yograj Singh, he was dropped for no reason from the national team.

“When Kapil Dev became captain of North Zone and India, he dropped me for no reason.” Yograj Singh said on “Unfiltered by Samdish.”

He also went on to say that Yuvraj Singh’s mother wanted him to question Kapil Dev for dropping him from the setup. Yograj Singh did the same and went to Kapil Dev’s house with a pistol with an intention to hurt him. However, with Kapil Dev coming out with his mother, the former Indian skipper escaped unhurt.

“I took my pistol out, I went to Kapil’s house in Sector 9. He came out with his mother”

Yograj Singh hurled many abuses at Kapil Dev and also cleared his intentions regarding shooting bullets into his body. However, he also mentioned that due to “pious mother”, he couldn’t take the action.

“I told him, ‘I want to put a bullet through your head, but I am not doing it because you have a very pious mother, who is standing here.’

I told Shabnam, ‘Let’s go.’ That was the moment I decided I would not play cricket, Yuvi will play.” Yograj added.

Post this incident, Yograj Singh did not continue his cricket but he vowed that Yuvraj Singh, his son would play.

“Kapil sent apology to me after 2011 World Cup win”: Yograj Singh

Yograj revealed that he cut all his ties with legendary cricketer post that and took his revenge post India’s 2011 World Cup win.

He sent a paper cutting of Yuvraj Singh lifting the World Cup and mentioned that he did better than the 1983 World Cup winner.

“I did send him a paper cutting that my son did better than you in the World Cup”

Yograj Singh also mentioned that Kapil Dev sent him an apology text and said they both will be brothers in the next life. However, Yograj Singh denied to meet him as he still continues to hold the vengeance.

“In 2011 when India won the World Cup, there was only one guy who was crying, and it was Kapil Dev,” he said.

“I did send him a paper cutting that my son did better than you in the World Cup,” he added.

Yograj Singh has played seven games for India across two formats, claiming five wickets and scoring eleven runs.
