Veteran leg-spinner, Piyush Chawla has recently picked his all time playing XI in ODIs. He has picked the current Indian captain, Rohit Sharma and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar to open the innings for his team.
Sharma is one of the most dangerous openers in ODI cricket history. He has played 257 ODI innings and scored 10,866 runs at an average of 49.2 with 31 hundreds and 57 half centuries. Rohit also has three double hundreds under his name. Tendulkar is the highest scorer in ODI cricket history with 18,426 runs in 452 ODI innings, including 49 hundreds at an average of 44.8.
He picked Virender Sehwag to bat at number three. Sehwag has been an audacious and aggressive opener, having scored 8,273 runs at an average of 35 with 15 hundreds. He picked, Virat Kohli, arguably, the greatest ever batter in ODI cricket. But he wants him to bat at number 4. Kohli has scored 13,906 ODI runs, so far, at a stunning average of 58.2 with 50 centuries to his name.

Chawla picked Yuvraj Singh as the all-rounder to bat at number 5. He has been a game changer in limited-overs cricket with his all-round abilities. MS Dhoni serves at the wicket-keeper batter at number 6. He is arguably the greatest ever wicketkeeper-batter in ODI cricket history and also arguably the greatest finisher ever in this format.

Chawla went on to pick the World Cup winning captain, Kapil Dev, as the all-rounder and added Zaheer Khan and Jasprit Bumrah in the pace bowling line-up. The trio of pacers have the ability to dismantle the best of batting line-ups. He then picked Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh as the two spinners in his team.
