Australia bowled first in the first match that against Scotland, which began Australia’s European summer.

The Scottish never seemed to go well, as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. They were restricted to a minor 154/9 with Sean Abbott picking 3 wickets for his team, emerging as the pick of the bowlers.

Next, the Aussies came in to bat and it seemed quite a getable job for the Aussies. However, no one thought this was going to come, as the Edinburgh stadium saw a storm in the form of Travis Head.

Head didn’t need a ball to get going, as he went on to score 80 runs off 25 deliveries, hitting 12 boundaries and 5 sixes. He scored only 2 runs other than boundaries. He struck Mcmullen for an 20 runs, while the biggest over came from Marsh, who smacked them for 30 runs. He scored a quickfire 39 of just 12 deliveries before he getting out.

Australia chased 156 even before 10 overs, thereby taking 1-0 lead in the series.
