Pant went on to score his first Test century in the match against England on September 11, 2018, at the Oval. He registered 114-run innings for India but ended up on the losing side. 2. Sydney Cricket Ground, Australia:
Pant registered an unbeaten score of 159 against Australia on January 4, 2019. His sensational knock with 15 boundaries and one six helped India win the BGT in Australia for the first time ever. 3. Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad:
Facing England once again, Pant scored 101 on March 5, 2021. This century helped India win the series. On January 13, 2022, Pant scored an unbeaten 100 runs off 139 deliveries against South Africa in the second innings of the Cape Town Test on a treacherous wicket. South Africa won the match by seven wickets but the innings displayed the commanding ability of Pant to dominate the bowling attacks on difficult wickets as well.
5. Edgbaston, Birmingham:
On July 1, 2022, Pant scored 146 runs off 111 balls in the fifth Test match at Birmingham of the 2021 Test series, which was postponed. His innings included 19 boundaries and four sixes, helping India post 416 runs on the board in the first innings. However, India still lost the game by seven wickets.
6. MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai:
Making a triumphant return after a severe car accident in December 2022, Pant scored 109 from 128 balls against Bangladesh. This century was not just about the runs but symbolized his incredible comeback, leading India to declare at 287/4 and setting up a victory with a massive target for Bangladesh.
