Former India cricketer and Head Coach, Rahul Dravid, has praised the talent pool in Indian Cricket. He feels that Indian Cricket is very strong and powerful at the current moment. Dravid feels that the big reason behind this is the talent that comes to the national team from all over the country.
Earlier, youngsters had to come to big cities to play cricket and kick off their career. However, at the current stage, the players are coming out from every corner of this diverse country.
“If you look at Indian cricket today, Indian cricket is extremely strong, it’s extremely powerful. One of the big reasons for that is that talent comes from everywhere, from all over the country. Even if there were talented boys in smaller places, they had to come to the big cities to play cricket. But today I think you see in Indian cricket that boys are coming from everywhere,” Dravid said as quoted by ESPNcricinfo.
