Samit Dravid, the son of former Indian captain and head coach, Rahul Dravid has been included in Indian U-19 squad for the upcoming series against Australia. The series will consist of three 50-over games and two four-day matches to be played in Puducherry and Chennai, respectively. Mohamed Amaan will captain the one day team, while Soham Patwardhan will lead the four day side.
The dates of the one-day matches are September 21, 23 and 26 and the four-day matches will start on 30th September and 7th October. For the unversed, Samit Dravid is a pace bowling all-rounder. He is currently plying his trade for Mysore Warriors in the ongoing KSCA Maharaja T20 trophy in Bengaluru.
However, he has not performed well in the tournament so far. Dravid has amassed 82 runs in the seven innings that he has batted. His highest score is 33 and is yet to bowl an over this season.

Samit Dravid was instrumental in the Cooch Behar Trophy. He displayed stunning performances for Karnataka and was one of the main reasons why they went on to win the trophy. In 8 innings, Samit smashed 362 runs with his highest score of 98 against Jammu and Kashmir.
He was equally brilliant with the ball, picking up 16 wickets in 8 matches. He scalped two wickets in the final against Mumbai.
