RCB player and Australian veteran all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell, opened up on his exit from the Royal Challengers Bangalore team, which seemed as smooth as it could be.

The great Australian all-rounder, known for his heroics under extreme conditions, revealed that he had a 30-minute call session with the team management ahead of the IPL retentions being announced.

Before the deadline was made, the representatives of the RCB franchise, which included the coach Andy Flower, and the director of cricket, Mo Bobat, had cleared their intentions and future plans.

Following this move, RCB shared a message from the director of cricket, Mo Bobat, as he highlighted the maintenance of a healthy ‘team culture’. He also noted that ending a player’s term with a franchise is of immense importance, and they look to build personal connections with every player.

Maxwell, with the post, marked that he hopes every global franchise follows a similar culture with their players, which would uphold the spirits of the team as well as the players.

Star Indian batter Rishabh Pant liked this post of Maxwell on Instagram after he was released by the Delhi Capitals owing to a disagreement with the management. He has been linked with several former franchises, including RCB, and now it seems he is impressed with their culture.

This marked that Pant’s exit was not even addressed by Delhi Capitals, and neither of the owner groups in GMR nor JSW also didn’t share anything regarding the matter. Not a likely farewell for a player of Pant’s calibre and esteem.

Australian pacer Mitchell Starc also had a similar complaint regarding the same with his exit from KKR, as even he was not informed of the same. Taking every such call into account, RCB’s gesture seemed to have impressed the cricket fraternity.
