Mandhana did not perform well in the Hundred competition playing for the Southern Brave. She played 5 games and scored 15,0,2,42 and 2, respectively. She arrived at The Hundred after performing really well in the Asia Cup, scoring 172 runs in the tournament. Moreover, she scored 238 runs in 9 games in the 2023 edition of the Hundred.
Meanwhile, the Women’s T20 World Cup is set to start in UAE from October 3. Bangladesh was the official host of the tournament. However, it has been shifted owing to the political problems in the country. Mandhana has to perform really well if India wants to become champions of the tournament.
She is the leading Indian run-scorer in T20I history in Women’s cricket. She has played 135 innings, and scored 3,493 runs at a strike rate of 122.51 and smashed 26 half centuries. She has scored 449 runs in 21 T20 World Cup matches. The Indian Women’s Cricket Team will like to win the T20 World Cup just like the men’s team in T20 World Cup 2024.
