India will next play a three-match Test series at home against New Zealand. Yadav is currently only a regular inclusion in the T20I team and is most possibly the skipper of the side in the next T20 World Cup in 2026.

It is very unlikely that he will be considered for the Test team. Suryakumar has always made sure that he plays regularly in domestic cricket. Mumbai are set to play their first Ranji Trophy game at home, starting from October 11.

Suryakumar Yadav, has transformed the landscape of T20 cricket with his explosive batting. What makes him particularly dangerous is his ability to hit in a full 360-degree arc, reminiscent of AB de Villiers. SKY’s shot selection is not just electric but incredibly effective; he plays the late cut, the scoop, reverse scoop, and an array of wristy shots with equal flair.

His adaptability to pitch conditions and bowling types, coupled with an almost telepathic understanding of when to switch gears, makes him a nightmare for bowlers. His innings often feature a blend of aggressive strokeplay and innovative shots, which can turn the game on its head in moments. This unpredictability, combined with his high strike rate, positions him as one of the most feared batsmen in T20 cricket, today.
