Virat Kohli is one of India’s most highly considered batters in the world across all formats of the game. However, he is having a tough time with the bat, , especially in the longest format of the game.

Virat Kohli, who was dismissed for just a single run in the first inning at Pune, was clean-bowled by a full-toss from Santner. Kohli, who had the opportunity to capitalize in the second inning after the start from young Jaiswal, could not set a record score.

Kohli again got out to Santner, as he was unfortunate when he was trapped in front of the wicket for 17 runs during the 359-run chase.

On his walk back to the dressing room, Virat Kohli seemed frustrated from his dismaying performance. To vent out his frustration, he even smashed an ice box, which is kept on the stairs to be taken from the dressing room.

The Indian expert batter, who has many records to his name, also achieved a milestone of 50 international One-Day hundreds as he surpassed the great Sachin Tendulkar for the amazing feat.

He, recently, scored 27000 international runs and became only the fourth batter in the world to achieve this great milestone after Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, and Kumara Sangakkara.

During his 70-run inning in the second inning of the Chinnaswamy Test, Virat Kohli went on to be the fourth Indian batter after Tendulkar, Gavaskar, and Rahul Dravid to have reached the individual glory of 9000 Test runs.
