Padikkal eyes a good domestic season prior to the IPL mega-auction
Devdutt Padikkal has starred in the IPL since his debut in the global tournament in 2019 with the Royal Challengers. Having made an initiation to his career alongside the legendary Virat Kohli, Padikkal played beyond his standards and everybodyโs expectations.
In the IPL Mega-Auction 2022, he was picked for the first time by the Rajasthan Royals for whom he played a stunning part in their race to the finals. Next, it was turn for the Lucknow Super Giants to include him in their side for the 2024 edition of the IPL, though he underperformed by all standards.
Devdutt Padikkal will look to prove how convincing can he be when he plays in the domestic matches of Maharaja T20 and, later, the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. Padikkal should prove his worth to regain the limelight before the IPL mega-auction as he can be a vital inclusion to many sides.
