During the warm-up game between India and Australia’s Prime Minister XI, Rohit Sharma was seen interacting with the fans and giving them his autograph. All the fans were chanting his name and were excited to see him.

A fan was heard saying, “Bhai, please Rohit, Rohit Bhai, please 10 saal hogye yaar, Rohit Bhai Mumbai cha Raja.”

This incident made the Indian captain smile as he felt the love and support from his fans, showing the strong connection they share. As soon as Rohit approached towards that fan, all the people in the stand started shouting and cheering.

India won the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Optus Stadium in Perth by a margin of 245 runs. The excellent performances of bowlers and batters helped the Indian side to secure a commanding victory and showcase their dominance in the game. This win also broadened the chances of India in the 2025 World Test Championship final.

The Indian side also emerged on top in the tour match against Australia’s Prime Minister XI. It was a pink ball match in preparation for the upcoming second Test between India and Australia at Adelaide, which is a pink ball one.

After winning the match, Rohit Sharma expressed his joy, saying it felt fantastic to win the match. He added that the team achieved what they had aimed for and made the most of the opportunities they got as a group.
