The Indian cricket team secured a dominant 3-1 victory over South Africa in the four-match T20I series. Many players proved their worth and hunger by delivering impactful performances that helped the team. Captain Suryakumar Yadav showcased his brilliant captaincy, leading the team with decision-making, sharp instincts, and an inspiring performance that played a key role in their series victory.

The outstanding knocks from Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma powered India to chase down a challenging target of 284 runs, showcasing their skill, composure, and determination under pressure. Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel delivered exceptional performances with the ball, skillfully restricting the flow of runs and claiming crucial wickets at pivotal moments, playing a vital role in India’s victory.

After the series win, BCCI posted a video of captain Suryakumar Yadav speaking about the win and series in team India’s dugout.

He started his speech by stating the fact,

“That everybody knows it is too challenging to win a series away from home, specially overseas. Last time we came here and the series remained 1-1. This time even though we were leading the series by 2-1, we decided how to approach the final T20I and everyone stepped up.”

SKY credited the unused players Vijaykumar Vyshak, Yash Dayal, and Jitesh Sharma for their constant support, while being on the bench. He appreciated the team and support staff by crediting the team performance that made them able to win this series.

He added, “the win to be a special win and everyone is happy, but we should take a lot of learnings from this series, go back and reflect on performances. Good luck to everyone who is turning up for domestic games.”

India secured a commanding victory in the final T20I, defeating the opposition by a massive margin of 135 runs. This emphatic win was largely fueled by the spectacular batting performances of Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma, who displayed exceptional skill and composure.
