Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan, was seen talking about the remaining purse and auction strategies, after retaining the 5 players for an amount of 65 Crore. He talked about the IPL career of MS Dhoni and his impact on the team.

He talked about his journey and experience being with India Cements and Chennai based franchise. Kasi talked about the IPL finals and MS Dhoni’s take after losing games or finals.

Vishwanathan stated, “We knew that if retentions are done, we may have a smaller purse to go to the auction. This will mean that we’ll probably not be able to compete with other teams, for getting best and top Indian players in the auction. We will try, but it will not be easy for us in the auction. We will try and build the best squad to give confidence to the team which is most competitive.”
