Radha Yadav of Team India is one of the best fielders in the world in Women’s cricket and she was outstanding on the field in the second ODI against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Yadav stunned everyone to take a sensational catch to dismiss Georgia Plimmer and then took another brilliant catch to help dismiss Brooke Halliday. With her catch, Priya Mishra scalped her maiden wicket and the Indian Women’s Cricket Team have been picking up regular wickets.
On the third delivery of the 32nd over, Brooke Halliday stepped down the wicket to hit the tossed up delivery over the top from the leg spinner.
However, she was nowhere near the ball and completely mistimed it. The ball was going to land where no fielder was stationed but India’s Radha Yadav came up with a brilliant effort.
Yadav was stationed inside the 30 yard cycle, but she ran backwards, timed her jump perfectly and took one of the magnificent catches ever taken in women’s cricket. She has always been a sensational fielder as she recently also displayed her skills during the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup.Â
