In the fourth innings of the ongoing Test match between India and New Zealand, Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal charged down the pitch and launched a massive six straight into the stands.

In the 10th over, Mitchell Santner bowled a nagging length bowl outside the off. Jaiswal danced down the track and powered the ball straight over the bowler’s head, sending it soaring for a six. This shot made the crowd go crazy and chants of “Jaiswal, Jaiswal” started erupting at the MCA stadium in Pune.

India require a humongous total of 359 runs in the fourth innings to win the match and level the three-match series 1-1 against the Black Caps.

The pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill needs to step up in this match, in order to provide India a winning chance. Their partnership is crucial as both of them have adapted to the pitch well and are handling the spinners with ease.

Indian captain, Rohit Sharma started the innings with intent, by hitting a pull shot for a boundary on the first ball he faced. He was looking in decent form, but he gave away his wicket in a miserable way to Kiwi all-rounder Mitchell Santner.

Sundar-Jadeja duo pulled out an unexpected magical runout

The all-rounder duo of Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja pulled out an amazing yet unbelievable runout to take the wicket of New Zealand fast bowler Will O’Rourke. This run-out gave the fans the glimpse of MS Dhoni in Jadeja

In the 70th over, Glenn Philipps chipped the ball towards Washington Sundar and was running for two, in order to keep the strike against Jadeja. Sundar threw the ball slow and little far from boundary towards the non-striker end.

Ravindra Jadeja magically brought his hand towards the ball and as soon as the ball touched his hand, it ran straight towards the wicket and uprooted the bails, which resulted in the dismissal of Will O’Rourke.

This runout restricted the Kiwi innings to a total of 255 and a target of 359 runs for the hosts to level the series.
