Indian cricketer Rinku Singh, who impressed everyone with his heroics in the T20 circuit, is reportedly engaged to Lok Sabha MP from Samajwadi Party (SP) Priya Saroj. She is a Member of Parliament from Macchlishahr Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh. Neither Rinku nor Priya has officially confirmed their engagement. The rumors started spreading due to claims made by social media users.
Priya Saroj, born in 1998 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is the daughter of Tufani Saroj, a three-time Member of Parliament. A well-educated individual, Priya earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Delhi University and later pursued a law degree from Amity University, showcasing her dedication to academics and her interest in legal studies.
At the age of 25, Saroj achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Machhlishahr Lok Sabha seat for the Samajwadi Party, becoming one of the youngest Members of Parliament. She secured a victory with a margin of over 35,000 votes.
As of now, Priya is a practicing lawyer in the Supreme Court, carrying forward the political legacy of her father, Tufani Saroj, who served as an MP from the same constituency in 1999, 2004, and 2009.

According to a report, Priya’s father, Tufani Saroj, revealed that Rinku Singh’s family had approached his elder son-in-law, who is currently serving as the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) in Aligarh, to discuss the marriage proposal. However, he has denied rumors of the Indian cricketer getting engaged to his daughter, clarifying that no such development has taken place as of now.
